I think that the uniform may be Czechoslovak Legion - but I'm unsure. I examined an "original" photograph and it had a cardboard from that the imprint of a local photographer. At this point I am assuming that the photograph was taken in Czechoslovakia and was reproduced in Binghamton NY, some time after their arrival in the USA. I do not believe that they brought their uiforms with them.

I believe the photograph was taken in 1917/1918. It as reproduced in Binghamton, NY,after 1928. There are different unit "numerals" on each collar (they were brothers).
As I understand the story my grandfather was wounded by a machine gun bullet and was held as a POW (by Italy).
