My Henry Renn moved with his wife Rachel Campbell and 8 children to Decatur Co IN before 1840. None of the children were named Henry. I have noted though that the census rolls for PA list Henry Renns from 1790 (Berks County) 1820, 1840, 1860. Also, look for Henry Wren in the PA census as some census takers spelled the name as Wren.

Hi, Am seeking the parents and wife of Dr. George Renn. George's daughter Jennie married(6-9-1887) my g'uncle(District Attorney in Mt. Carmel Area) Voris Auten. They had one daughter Agnes, b. 7-11-1893. Who did Agnes marry? Voris(b. 7-8-1856) was the ninth son of William Maxwell Auten &(2nd wife) Sarah Marr(widow of John Marr, daughter of James Allison & ?), and g'son of Joseph Auten/Aten & Elizabeth Maxwell. Any help wouldbe greatly appreciated. Happy Hunting:^) Jane

I sent an email asking for you information on Philip Renn and wife Rachel. Here is what I have on Henry Renn (Wren). Henry Renn was born 12 March 1802 Augusta Twp Northumberland Co PA and died 26 Feb 1887 Jennings Co IN. He married Rachel Campbell b 1802 PA d 1880 Jennings Co IN. They had 8 children, the first 5 born in Northumberland Co PA, the last three born in Decatur Co IN. They apparently followed Rachel's parents to IN. They were Robert and Elizabeth Campbell. I have one source, The Genealogical & Biographical Annals of Northumberland County (page 547), Pennsylvania, that gives Henry Renn's parents as Philip and Rachel Renn. This same book has an article on Nicholas W Renn, son of John Renn page 157. If this is your John Renn and you can't find a copy, let me know and I will email the relevant details.

Wow...is that Northumberland History Book on the web? Do you know how I can get a copy? I'd like to know if it has anything on my ancestor's history too...Isaac and Sarah Rogers who migrated to Illinois circa 1850s. Thank-you.
