I am trying to find info on the Cole's who lived in Dooly, then later Crisp County, ga.
The grandfather's name was W. C. Cole. He had a son, John E. Cole. John had a daughter Rosa Cole Green. John also had son's, Hardy, Jim, and William. Any info would be appreciated.

Marolyn, I'm researching ancestry of a dear friend, and found out that John E. Cole is his great-granduncle. Would love to share what I've found about the Cole families with you. BTW, you probably know by now that Crisp County, GA was formed from Dooly County in 1905, so the Coles probably lived in the part of Dooly that became Crisp.

Also, I found a 1911 newspaper article about John E. Cole's death, and just posted a reply to the message about the crash that you posted on the Crisp County message board in 2000.
