Eric,

I was doing some research on Wisneski's in Westmoreland County and came across this entry on the Westmoreland County Site at http://westmorelandweb400.us:8088/EGSPublicAccess.htm

IGNATZ WASNEZKI married PIZA ORLETSKA on 1/11/1899. They applied for their license on 12/27/1898. Could this be them? If so, the paperwork will be on file at the county courthouse. I've pulled entries from there before. It's pretty easy.

Another good resource for Westmoreland County is the Tribune Review archives online since about 1990. There was a few Wasniewski's listed but not many.

http://library.tribweb.com/interconnect/intercon.dll for items from 1990 through 2001

http://www.pittsburghlive.com for stuff from 2001 through the present.

BTW, my GGF was Franciszek Jozef Wisniewski, son of Franciszek and Wladyslawy Toronskich Wisniewski, born in 1886 in Tartaku near Warsaw. He came to America around 1901 and settled in Southwestern Pa

Good luck in your research.

Hi Wiszard, do you know of any resources in Northumberland county such as the type you mentioned in Westmoreland county? I have family that settled, born and died there in the 1880's. Thanks in advance for any help. --- Mark Wisniewski in Fenton, MI
