My grand-grand father was a soldier in the Austrian Army in WW I. He was Romanian from Bukovina, and he participeted in the Dolomites campaign between 1914-1915,where he was wounded and sent home in the spring of 1915 where he died shotly after that.
Could I possibly find any records about him in the Austrian Military Archives? His name was GEORGI GIURGIU,born in 1873 died in 1915.
Thank you

Are you sure he fought in the Dolomites? The fight started at the end of May 1915 on the Italian front.
