I am trying to find information about an Edward Kennelly who was a member of the 90th Illinois during the Civil War. He mustered in in 1862 in Chicago, Ill and was wounded at Chatanooga. I am trying to find out if he is the father of my gr. grandfather, Edward P. Kennelly born 4 Aug 1874 in Chicago. His father's place of birth is listed as County Kerry, Ireland and Edward Kennelly of the 90th Illinois also has County Kerry listed as his place of birth. I believe he might have married a Margaret O'Connor who later married a man with the last name of Logan after his death. I would appreciate any information.

No. I am looking for more information on the Edward Kennelly who was a private in the 90th Ill. during the civil war. I am hoping to connect him to Edward P. Kennelly who is my gr. grandfather. I know Edward P's father was named Edward also and would like to find out if the civil war veteran of the 90th Ill. was his father. To prove or disprove, I need to find more info about the Civil War veteran. Thanks.
