Do you have any data on a Mills Carr, born abt 1830-32, IN, whose father on the 1880 census is listed as having been born in GA. Mills Carr Married Elizabeth Hodson 1854 in IN, his son Elmer Ellswoth Carr is my grandfather. This is a family nothing much is found on. Dorothy Carr Graff

Hi, My Name is Vicki, I am searching for the family of Sara M. Carr born in Georgia between 1830 -1835. She married a Francis M. Nicholson on 12-10-1854. They could have been from Fulton, Forsyth, or Cherokee County. I think her father was William, but not sure. Had found her once with both parents but lost my notes. One or both parents were born in South Carolina.

Hello, it is always exciting to hear from a fellow geneaoligist! I don't know if I can help you though. My great-grandfather, Mills E. Carr put on several census his mother was from NC and his father was from Georgia, but I have not found them. In their family Bible, Mills wife, Elizabeth Hodson listed their birthdays and childrens names and birthdays. William T. Carr was is listed as born 10 May 1856. A daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Carr was born 05 Feb. 1856, and I have found her decendants, living in Idaho. Sarah married Alfred Tyrrell. I am not even sure William is their child, as he was born two years before they married, yet on thieir marriage license they both said they had not been married before. Strange. Anyway, keep in touch, and I will add your name and address to my contacts. Dorothy
