I am descended from Valentine Bone and Christena Kliene1 through John Bone/Sarah Piles2, Valentine Bone/Avis Spurrier3, James Bone/ Angeline Allison4, Samantha Bone/James Lee5, Ira Lee/ Pearl Moore6, Marjorie Lee/

Donald Willey7.

I would be very interested in the wills of Valentine and Samuel. I have found that a Rachel Beason (b.May 1, 1835, Greene Co., OH) married Thomas Bone, 25 Mar 1852 and had 8 children, mostly born in IA. Rachel's parents were Thomas Beason and Rodilla Mendenhall, but I have not found a connection for sure to Rachel and Aletha Beason.

Thomas was the son of Valentine Bone and Mary Turner. Valentine was the s/o Samuel and A. Beason.

Valentine Bone is the only child I have for Samual and Aletha Beason. Can you send me the names of the other 6 brothers and sisters?

Sounds like you are way ahead of me on shaking this family tree, but I'd be happy to help and share any info.

Deric,

The dates and location looks promising for John and Rachel to be brother and sister, but I have no other information on Rachel other than her parents, (unverified)- Thomas Beason and Rhodilla Mendenhall. I do not have a John Addison Beason in my files.

Claudia,

Rachel Sutton was my ggggrandmother, Esther Mendenhall and Alanson Bryan were my gggrandparents. My ggrandparents lived in Montezuma, they were Bedy and Margaret Victor Bryan. I have information on my family and would like to hear about yours. I am sure we have many family members still in Montezuma. My grandfather William moved to Illinois in the late 1880's probably. Please let me hear from you.

Claudia,
I am related to Thomas and Rhodilla Beason through their daughter Rhodilla who married Harry Orrill in Iowa. I am searching for any information on Harry and Rhodilla. I believe they are buried in an IOOF Montezuma Cemetery in the town of Jackson. Are there any pictures or documents related to these two?
