Hi,
My name is Frank G. Feduccia. I have been researching the Feduccia/Fiduccia family tree. My grandfather was Frank Dantone Feduccia(10/2/1893). He was one of ten children of
Antonio P Feduccia(5/19/1848) and Angelina Inbrugulia(12/25/1858)both born in Cefalu, Italy. Antonio P. Feduccia was the son of Giuseppe Feduccia and Maria D'Antoni. Part of the relatives I have been able to trace so far spell the last name Fiduccia. I believe this may be correct based of the ship records of Italian immigrants into New Orleans that I have been able to find. Most of the relatives I have traced so far live in Louisiana,Mississippi,Tennessee and Arkansas. Anionio P. Feduccia had at least one brother named Joseph Vincent Feduccia. There may have been another brother named Frank but he may be the brother to Giuseppe.

I would be interested to know if you have any information about your ancestors and if we might be related. I did find
some information of some Feduccia's that came to the US through New York and then went to Chicago. Any information you might have would be helpful.

Do you have any idea who the father of these brothers was? The mothers name?
Do you know if they were from Cefalu or a small town near
Cefalu maybe? Is there anything you'd like for us to check for
you while we're in Sicily? Birth certificates? death records?
We'd be glad to.

Surnames: Feducia, Fiducia, Glorioso
Hi Frank,
I am 62 years old and now live in St. Louis. My mother was Josephine Glorioso and her mother was Carmela Feducia (I suspect Fiducia). She was originally married to a man named Marino but he was killed in New Orleans. She later married Antonio Maurice Glorioso. My mother was born in Helena Arkansas but was mostly raised by her older sisters in Bossier City. She went to Louisiana Tech and lived with my father (Henry Mays) in Ruston, Louisiana. I am just beginning to do some research. My mother's siblings are all deceased and the notes my mother gathered are limited. Her knowledge of her mother was sketchy because she was so young when her mother died. I wish to make this connection although I have little to offer at this time. I am returning to Cefalu in September, however, and hope to do some research. I found the street she lived on via Francavilla which is against LaRocca and very close to the duomo. I hope to hear from you. mmshorey@att.net

I know our family line very well. I am so excited I finally can make a connection and put some pieces together for you. If I am correct your mothers Bdate is 1-24-1919. Her parents names are Antonion Glorioso born 5-19-1870 death 8-8-1940. Also Carmela Feducia born in Cefula 3-1-1874 death 9-8-1930. Antonio was her 2nd husband and your mother was herr 7th and last child.
Even though I have all this information Im afraid that the most recent info is incorrect. I have Robert Mays Jr as your mothers only husband...... please contact me for that I can also give you carmelas parents and grandparents names and we can piece some info together. Stephanie Fazio

This is wonderful. My mother, Josephine Glorioso was married once to my father, Henry Robert Mays, Jr. I was born and grew up in Ruston, Louisiana. My grandmother Carmela Fiducia Marino Glorioso was widowed shortly after arriving in New Orleans. she moved to Helena , Arkansas where mother was born.

My current email address is mmshorey@att.net.

I have been to Cefalu 3 times and have pictures of Via Francavilla. On my last trip, my cousin, Mary Virginia Glorioso Michele traveled with me. Her mother was a Balustrella (may be misspelled). She and I have family in Bossier City and Shreveport.

I look forward to corresponding directly.
