You have posted several inquires into this line of the family. They were my wife's great grandparents. Her grandfather was Heinrich also and he was a Lutheran circuit minister in the 1890's. He moved to South Dakota and first settled in the Manisfield area and later to Clayton/Parkston area of SD. Heinrich had 12 children. My wife's father Martin had 10 children. We were in Waconia MN in 1997 for a larger Lubeke reunion. Met many of our "cousins" there. There are several people in the family that much more information on the lineage. There is a book about to be published soon. I will get Laurie's email address and will post it so you can contact her directly. The family originally came from Pomeria, Prussia. Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't able to attend reunion, but had asked to buy a book when available. I would love to be contacted when it will be ready to purchase.

I just read your message to C. Erickson. My grandparents were Luebke's in Minnesota (Wm Conrad Luebke and Ida Louisa Burow). You mentioned there will be a book published soon on the Luebke's, could you tell me where I can purchase it, or the name of author book? I appreciate your help. Dianne William_Leonard@msn.com

I am looking for relatives of August Luebke who came from Germany and settled in Manitowoc County, WI. He fought in the Civil War. I have info on his descendants but know nothing about his siblings or where he came from in Germany.

Wondering if you have any recent info on the book publication? Extended family has questioned me on when to expect the book.
