Hi Penny, welcome to the 'Siggers'. I have a George William Siggers born in Newton in abt. 1891.He was the son of Abraham Siggers and Elizabeth. He had a daughter called Pamela born abt. 1934. She married Reginald Joseph Carrier who was born abt. 1930. But that is all I have about this part of the family. I don't know who George's wife was or if he had any more children. If he happens to be the George you are looking for I am more than happy to pass on the info. I have and believe me there are quite a few Seggers/Siggers. My line goes back to abt. 1734. Looking forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to email me direct. New email address is Fallenin@btinternet.com

I really need some help with Siggers. My great grandmother was May(I think) Sigers(also spelled Siggers), born some time around 1868. Her father was from S.C. and her mother was from Ms. She was born in Arkansas, she married my great grandfather William Henry Crook in 1888. I have a copy of the marriage license, but there isn't much information on it, the spelling of her name on that is May Sigers. They are on the 1900 census in Arkansas, Cleveland Co. Tisdale township. If you have anything on her, I would appreciate it if you would share with me.
Thanks,
Pam

My sister, Anne, who lives in England and I (who now live in New Jersey, U.S.) have been reading your info on the Siggers/Segers/Seggar family and Charlotte b. 1849 is our great grandmother. Her last name was Chatters and their daughter's name was Charotte Segers(our grandmother) and she married Arnold Bertram Withers. We found your family tree and are wondering if you have any other information on this family. We would love to hear from you.
