It would be nice to find the family mambers which I didn't know anything about...It used to be my dream to make a family tree , maybe I shoul do that ...? Anyway , I am coming from Inowroclaw area...my father's family is so big , I don't even know all the members . For example his father , Waclaw , had lot's of brothers and sisters , I only have met only two of them... I believe that would be very interesting to find the rest of the family !

I found out while helping my daughter do a geneology report that my my relative was a President of Poland. I think it was my mother's grandfather. My cousin said that my aunt(her mother) used to talk about this particular person. He was a political figure in Poland. He "disappeared" and no one knew what happened to him.

Hi - I am related to the prior MIKE5051 - and we've recently had more interest in finding the descendants of
Stanislaw Wojciechowski. Our Grandfather Frank came over from Poland with a brother Stanislaw and later sisters Anna and Stephanie came too, leaving behind in Poland 4 other siblings. Our Grandfathers name was Joseph and wife Josphine, though on one record Joseph is named Anthony (?), It appears they cahnge their names - If you have any other information would love to share. We think that Stanislaw and Joseph were brothers.

Surnames: Wojciechowski, Malinowski, Wolff, Wolffe
My grandfather, Alexis Chester Wojeciechowski, was born in Warsaw, Poland / East Prussia in 1889 and reportedly left with his mother in the middle of the night, due to strife in the country. He settled in Detroit, MI, marrying Anna Malinowski of Buffalo. Family legend has it that he was related to Stanislaw Wojciechowski, perhaps a nephew, but I have not been able to find any information on his ancestors.

In the 1940s, the family changed their name to Wolff (some became Wolffe).

Any clues here?
