I have a bit of information about Thomas and Jane Reilly, Thomas came from Navan and came out to Australia on the Westermoreland in 1838 as a convict. Jane came out with her sister as a free persons.

Galway has parish baptism records on line with an Irish
History Foundation. Galway genealogy wise is divided into east and west. Navan however, is in Co. Meath. which is also on line with the Foundation. This is a pay website even though a not for profit Foundation. Little in Ireland is free. Civil registration did not begin until 1864.

www.familysearch.org - instead of searching from the main page, scroll down to UK/Ireland, click on this, then scroll down next page to Ireland. Worth a try. There is also the IGI, international genealogy index and prison records.

Convict transportation records Ireland to Australia are available at the National Archives. www.nationalarchives.ie
