St. Guy might be an old parish(denomination unknown)near or in Vienna; also the name of a cathedral; Maurice Silberstein gave it as his place of birth on a U.S. passport application; he was naturalized as Maurice Silvester in San Franciso, 1903.

must be a misspelling - no such roman.cath. parish in Vienna.

which religion?
was´nt he jewish, because of Silberstein-name?
did he come about Ellisisland?
