There is an Andrus Book entitled "The Ancestors
of Joseph Charles Andrus of St. Landry Parish,
Louisiana". It has an indexed section of about
300 to 400 Andrus names as well as military
history and Confederate Service records data
from those Andrus' who enlisted from St. Landry
Parish. It is about 60 pages of historical
information bound in book form. If any one is

It has too many lines to mention all but some are of course ANDREWS/ANDRUS, VALDETERO, BARLOW, BONIN, BROUSSARD, DeJEAN, FOURNET, GAUTHIER, ISTRE, LeGROS, LeJEUNE, RICHARD, ROWE, ROY, and SMITH. The book cost me $30.00, shipping included. It's a steal for that price. I have NO interest or had anything to do with this book. In fact, I have purchased four copies (2 for gifts).
