John, I checked the "Wills & Administatrations of
Shampton Co Va 1749-80 by Blanche Chapman -- Will of
William Hatfield -- legatees -- wife Mary, cousin
Tillaman Hatfield; cousin John Hatfield; cousin David
Hatfield; cousin Philemon Hatfield; Exs. wife Mary &
cousin Philemon Hatfield. D March 11, 1785. Recorded
April 10, 1755. Wit Joseph Cobb, John Drake, and George
Gurley. page 166.

The dates are from the book -- I'm sure 1785 should be
1755. Tillaman & Philemon might be the same person?

His estate was appraised by Joseph Cobb, George Gurley
and Thomas Crenshaw. R. 12 June, 1755. page 171

The page #'s are from the original will books, in this
case Will Book 1.

HOpe this helps -
Sherry
