John Deegan immigrated to America, he had two brothers, Patrick and Jeremiah and a sister Elizabeth. Has an older brother William who immigrated in 1855 from Kings County.Any information would be greatly appreicated.

Hi Clara, I am researching the DEEGAN Family. John immigrated from Australia to USA in1849. Could this be the same family you are talking about? Drop me a line. Thanks Dick. By the way John married Josephine Maintain.

The John I have came to America in 1855 and lived in New York for a short while. He moved to Wisconsin where one of his brother's lived. He married Rose Duffy in 1871. He moved to Nebraska in 1875.
