There is a Gedcom for a Jacob Reimer b. 1887 in Siberia-father Jacob-mother Mary. No spouse is listed. Posted by a Colleen Kirby in 2004. I found it on Ancestry but try Rootsweb too might be there.
By the way some Mennonites also went to California- There are Riemers in Dinuba, Tulare Co. and the town of Reedley, Fresno County was settled by Mennonites and has an excellant private school supported by the local Mennonite churches. My son attends it and his girlfriend's grandmother is a Reimer.
