My husband, Rich Clark, is Seymour's son and, of course, a grandson of Harry R and Sophia Smith Clark. We believe that this is a picture of Seymour due to the period look of the frame and clothing style. Thanks so much for posting it. We have been researching Rich's genealogy for almost four years now and have managed to trace back to the 16th century on most of his lines, including the Smith line. Have a lot of info on his grandmother Sophia but could only get back to Adrestus Clark, who is Harry's grandfather.

Thanks so much for doing this.

I too am only able to get as far back as Adrestus Clark in my research. I have found his grave listing. He is buried in Blossom Cemetery in Hamlin, NY. Buried near him is who I believe is his father- William E. Clark (1803) http://mcnygenealogy.com/cem/blossom.htm.
I found William E. Clark living with his wife Sally and other children on the 1850 census in Clarkson, Monroe, New York. Other children are (Alanzo, Emma, Eliza, Matthew and Joseph).
