I have some references to Mary Richards m. William Antle, she born about 1780 in Port de Grave and a number of children to them in the early 1800's. All my data is about the ANTLE family and this is the only Mary Richards that shows up in there. Happy hunting!

Think we might've been here before. But everything is worthwhile. My G-g'mama. Mary Richards, married a Mr. Chase, ca. 1870. They had Annie May, my g'mum, b.1891. who married a William Butler, ca. 1910. Their first child, Mary, was my aunt, and 6 others were either uncles or aunts except Doris Edith, b. 8 June 1914, who was my Mom. Need Tons of help!1

Thanx for the reply, Lynn, but I think we're off base. My Mary Chase (nee Richards) was the mother of a Frank Chase who was the father of my Grandmother, Annie May Chase, b. approx. 1891. gandmama married a William Butler, who I believe was from Nova Scotia. I seem to have hit a brick wall w/Annie. Thanx again. AJ

Hi
I am looking for a "Mrs. Frank Richards", don't know her first or maiden name, but apparently she was married to Frank Richards. I am not sure of her residence status, but document states that "ELIZA BUSHEE" 23 yrs.old had a baby, the father was "John Disquil" who was being put in Jail, possibly in Antogonish, Nova Scotia for unknown reasons, back in the 1890's. Either Jane, Eliza, or Fidell was the sister of Mrs. Frank Richards who was given consent to take the baby back to "Somerville,NFLD.?? OR Sommerville, Mass.
Eliza, mother of the baby moved to Boston. I believe the baby to be my grandmother who never knew her parents and is of Indian desent {partially}was brought to Englee, NFLD. by boat and passed over to a family that did not know these people, but they raised her well. They were told by the master of the boat that she was born on the sea and was then three months old before returning from the sea, no mention of her parents or where she came from. Any and all info. would be grately appreciated.

Thanking you in Advance
Evelyn
