I have a Benjamin F. Faust who married Sarah A. Murray.
Sarah A. was first married to Leander DeWitt Booty. The Booty family also lived in Tangipahoa and Washington Parish before some of them migrated to Natchitoches Parish.

Benjamin and Sarah were married 10/14/1877 in Sabine Parish (I believe I am remembering right, if not it was Natchitoches Parish).

Faust in Shrevport, LA. and I am desperately seeking any information on my gggranfather "William Faust" who is shown on the 1870 census for Tangipahoa Parish 50 yrs. married to Minerva 45yrs. and with son "Benjamin Franklin Faust"(my great grandfather) 16yrs. and daughter Martha J.
