born in 1882 in St. Guillaume, Quebec. I am looking

Napoleon is brother to Casimir Frenette who is my husbands' grandfather. My husband Ronald is deceased and his father was Ferdinand {Bud} Frenette. Hope this helps. Shirley. Do you have any more info on this? Thanks.

Ferdinand Frenette was born on Jan. 6, 1890, in Quebec. It says on his birth certificate that his uncle Napoleon was named his Godfather. His Godmother was his aunt Estelle Bedard. I am new at this but I can"t seem to find much out. Shirley

Shirley, the Frenette's that you are giving me information for
are of no relation according to my genealogy. Though I am looking
for siblings, which may very well be what you're talking about. I
am missing children to most of my aunt's and uncle's. Thanks for
the info though!

Yes, it says on Casimirs' birth certificate that his uncle Napoleon was present but the dates don't jibe. Also there was his aunt, Estelle Bedard. Does this mean anything to you? Shirley Frenette

I don't recognize the Bedard name. It's no where on my genealogy.
Thanks, though.

Shirley, I can fill you in on the Frenette's. I have been working on the family tree the last few months. Do you have Casimir's or Bud's birth certificate? I have Bud's but I need Casimir. My gg-grandmother, lena Frenette, was Bud's sister. I have had your daughter, Becky & Amy, Christy & Amanda in class. I can answer most of your questions.

I have a Napoleon Frenette in my database, s/o Clement Frenette and Celina Dion. He married Reine Alba Page d/o Antoine Page and Julienne Frenette. There is a double connection to the Frenette family here. They married on 24 August 1908 at St. Guillaume d'Upton. I only have two children of this marriage: Helene and Rosario. Can you help here?

Napoléon was born on August 15, 1882 got married on August 24, 1908 to Rose Alba Pagé, daughter of Antoine Pagé and Julienne Frenette (born in 1859), she was in fact a relative).

Hélène : born 1909-01-21; married : 1927-10-25 to Arthur Chapdelaine; death : about 25 years ago
Joseph Rosario : b. 1911-03-11 (my father)m.: 1939-12-30 to Louise Lalancette; d.: 1991;
Yvette : b.: 1912-06-28; m.: 1935-06-26 to Felix LaPensée; d.: in the 1990s
Yvonne : b.: 1913-11-07; m.: 1935-06-26 to Leon Vandel (Vontell); d.: 1998-07-27
Cécile : b.: 1913-06-07; m.: 1934-06-15 to Roland J. Béliveau; d.: in the 1990s
Eugène : b.: 1916-08-13; m.: 1945-06-23 to Anna Dattoma; d.: 1997-04-15
Clarence b.: 1918-04-22; m.: 1945-06-23 to Arlene Cyr; d.: 1990-04-30
Roland b.: 1922-06-02; m.: 1951 06- to Anita Delores Gagné; d.: 1975-12-02
Marcel b.: 1924-07-15; m.: 1948-04-24 to Mary Vitale; d.: 1968-04-30

Three children died at an early age:
Yvette - died in Bristol (?), probably born 1911 (since the family moved to Bristol, Connecticut around 1925, I believe she died in St-Guillaume)
Roland - died in St-Guillaume d'Upton, probably 1920
Jeannine - b 1928-11-28 died a few months later and was buried in St.Thomas Cemetery in Bristol.

Since only two children remained in Canada - Hélène and Joseph Rosario - most of the descendants are living in the States;

my brother died a few years ago and had two children and five grandchildren whereas in my case I have two children.

As to Clément Frenette, born in 1841, married Celamie (?) Dion 1865-01-17; his parents : Joseph Frenette and Marie Laprade married 1839-11-19. Their daughter, Julienne, married Antoine Pagé in 1880 as indicated above.

Hope this will help in your research.
