I have been told that I am related to the Quantrill familly. My familly name is Cantwell, and I was told it was changed due to the acts of William Quantrill. Does anyone know any info on descendants of the Quantrill family?

I have been told i am kin to him too that i am a descendant of his brother who changed his name to cantrell so no one would know they were kin which is my moms maiden name. So its possible
