He came from North Carolina and moved to Texas in the 1830s. I do not know who his parents are.

Mine are all in the NW PA area. Clearfield and Centre Counties to be exact. I have a James Berry who married into my Buckley/Smith line in the late 1800's. James worked for the NYC Railroad out of Clearfield PA.

Seems so funny to have all these names in common and no connections. My great aunt Margaret Smith married a John/Jack Buckley...so we have more names in common, as I said, with no connections...LOL

My grandfather, O.C. Smith (aka David Smith) had a sister, possibly Nellie, who I was told married an Eddie Berry. Do any of these people fit into your "tree"?

Sorry I only know of James Berry. He was married to Katherine (Katie) Smith. I am still working the Smith side as that is my direct line. Is this a PA family you are referring to?

Best Regards

As far as I know they didn't live in PA. I know he lived in Virginia, Oklahoma, Missouri, Washington.
