Louise Libra WATKINS, 94, of Three Rivers, passed away peacefully early Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Heartland Health Care Center. She was born in Detroit on May 23, 1915 the daughter of Donnino and Rose Semino.

Mrs. WATKINS has been a life long resident of this area. She was employed for a short time at Essex Wire before becoming the manager of Newberry’s Dime Store in downtown Three Rivers before retiring. She also was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, John GRIFFIN and Warren WATKINS; one daughter, Patricia STEFFEY.

She leaves to cherish her memory her grandsons, Gary HUGHES and Andrew HUGHES, both of Three Rivers; two great-grandchildren, Jared and Haley HUGHES of Three Rivers; step-grandsons, Douglas, Dave and Dan STEFFEY; several step-great grandchildren and friends.

A memorial celebration will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9 at the Hohner Funeral Home, with Fr. Mark Vyverman as celebrant.

Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery.

Memorials may be donated to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
