What era? Possible birth & death dates (or approximations).
Where in Orleans County do you think he might have lived & when? Occupation, country/state of birth, wife, children?

Good luck

he was born 1792. I found him in a census and it listed his children as john and watson. is there a posibility that watson was the son of john and grandson of richard h.

Need more info: in 1792 the British & Senecas controlled what is now Orleans County. Serious growth came with Erie Canal after 1824. What Orleans Censuses do these Turners appear on?

Did any of the family stay in this area?

The census you mentioned was from Jefferson County--not Orleans County. Try posting on the Jefferson County Board.

I'll see if I can find anything for you.
