Attempting to track information on subject name.

Joseph was a BLACKSMITH in Sandwich East late 1800's - early 1900's.

His shop was located across the stree from FORD MOTROR COMPANY on Riverside Drive.

Any and allinformation would be greatly apapreciated.

This doesn't add anything much to your knowledge but he is listed in the 1899 Essex Directory as a blacksmith in Walkerville, which would be the right location for the shop you mentioned.

Do you know if your Joseph Campau was married to Aimee Brouillette. I show that they were married at St. Anne's church in Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada on Feb. 16, 1874. Also, this Joseph had brothers Jerome Jeremiah, Adolphus Alfred (my great grandfather) and sisters Theresa, Mary Ann, Helena, and Justine. If so I have more info. Anita

Sorry, I did not look down further enough to see Cathy Knight had already responded to you. I am from the Leonard, Etienne, James, John Baptist, etc. line. In short a very distant relative.
