Hi Avril
I was interested to see your post about Henry Potter. One of his daughters, Frances Emma(Emmy)Potter, born in 1882, was my great grandmother.

I am trying to find more information about the Potters and also the Lee family. For the Potters, I have no information before Henry. I have some rough information about the Lees, going back to Thomas Lee, born about 1750 in Havant.

I would appreciate any help you could provide.

Thank you,
Sue

Am researching the Lee family, and wonder if your Amelia J Lee is related? Were her parents Thomas Lee 1800-1880 and Jane Carter 1812 - 1908. If so then her siblings are George Lee b. 1833, Ellen b 1834-1916, Harriet b 1837, Jane b. 1839/40, Annie b 1841, Charles b 1845, Sophia b 1847, Edmund H b 1851-1899, Alice b 1852 and Alfred who I am researching b 1843- 1905. In 1861 they lived in 26 East Street Havant. Regards Donna

I think that Amelia J Lee b 1849 was married to Henry Potter b 1841 in December 1867, and that in 1881 they lived in Portsea. The Lee's are from Havant. Regards Donna
