My husband Bernard (Bernie) Lucas was a resident of Marks Nathan in the early 1940s. He just passed away on May 29, 2011, at almost 86 yeards of age.
Bernie went into the Army right after graduating from Crane Tech. He was in the 3rd Armored Division and drove a tank in the Battle of the Bulge where he received a Purple Heart with an Oak Leaf Cluster. He was a true hero. and I am proud of him.
We were married for 54 years, and resided in Tucson, AZ, since 1999. Joan Lucas

Surnames: The Dorfman twins
My mom and aunt, identical twins BEVERLY and BARBARA DORFMAN, were at Marks Nathan from 1929 to approx. 1945. They are no longer with us but over the years they have shared many stories with their families about their experiences. If anyone remembers them or has stories they can share, please post them. My sisters and cousins would love to hear them. Thanks, Marty Apple
