looking for descendants to the Richard and Patience TATEM CHEW family of NJ, c. early 1700's, Daughter Charity married Richard POWELL, both buried in Chew-Powell cem. near Blackwood, NJ. 21 children, 17 sons rumored to be in Revolution.

Yes, there were 17 sons in the ARW. Only one girl out of the 21 children and she died in her early teens, before the war.
