Deceased Name: Lester H. Dinsmore, 91

OCALA -- Lester H. Dinsmore, 91, a retired architect with the U.S. State Department, died Friday, May 16, 2003, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.

A native of Keshena , Wis., he moved here from Winter Park in 1985. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of Our Lady Springs Catholic Church and of the Menominee Tribe in Wisconsin.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years Anne Dinsmore, Ocala; three sons, Dr. James Kayatowape, Chugiak, Alaska, Jerome Dinsmore, Ocala, and Donald Dinsmore, Chapel Hill, N.C.; two daughters, Kim Hamilton, Chapel Hill, N.C., and Mahnee Dinsmore, York, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.

Roberts Funeral Home, Downtown Ocala Chapel, provided information.

i worked for lester at dept of state for twenty years and found him to be an exceptional person both professionaly and personally. I enjoyed his outlook on life and his interesting stories. I regret not having more contacts with him during his retirement.
