I am searching for any descendents of Cristobal Colon (the explorer
Christopher Columbus) or anyone who happens to know any stories if Columbus
ever had any illegitemate children in the new world. Whether
your family has a story about being descended from Columbus or whatnot,
I would appreciate any
information on this.
Thanx.

"Don't Know Much About History" by Kenneth C. Davis 2003 by HarperCollins Publishers. pg. 16
"In 1502, he (Christopher Columbus) left Spain with four ships & his fourteen-year-old son, Ferdinand, who would record events during the trip. Although Columbus reached the Isthamus of Panama & was told that a large body of water (the Pacific Ocean) lay a few days march away...exhausted, & suffering from malaria, sailed to Jamacia...Spain in Nov. 1504...He spent his last days in a modest home in Valladoid & died on May 20, 1506..." not my family
