My name is Lisa, I am a decendant from the Devault family, the furthest back I am aware is from Lee, Virginia. My mother's Grandfather's name was Jacob Davault (married to Melissa Scott), her father's name was Joseph Lee Davault. Joseph's brother was named Clay. I am looking for any information on this family. When I run my search, I find information on Jacob Witt Davault married to Malissa Scott, but their family does not included any members of my family. Hi Lisa. My great-great grandfather was Jacob Witt DaVault but he was married to Rachel Love. They were in Lee County, Virginia. Most of their children went to Oklahoma and Texas in the late 1890's, and some stopped briefly in Missouri on the way. I don't know if I can help you but I would like to try.
