hello all. Have been looking at your messages with great interest, and was just wondering if any of you could now help me out. Do any of you happen to have any information on John Farrelly, his wife Rebecca Allerton (1807-1874) or any of their many descendents? [Their children were Sarah Anne, James, John, George, Rebecca, Bessie, Henry, James, Mary, Alexander, William and Frances, born between 1827-1846]Unfortunately the email address for a 'fwfarr@flash.net' appears to have expired, and I think he may in fact be researching another strand of this same family. Do any of you know of 'fwfarr' or indeed have any information on my query? Thanks in anticipation, and good luck with your own searches.

Well, I was "fwfarr@flash.net" and have been in touch with Clare since her original post about John Farrelly (Hi Clare) and my current email is franfarr@pair.com. Also, I was the author of the geocities farrellys web page that is no longer in existence... but I have a new web site I have been adding to at: http://mytigerstar.com/farrellys/farrelly/farrelly_john_dc.h...
Most of the info came from Clare and another cousin who like me is a great-grandchild of William Farrelly, son of John. The web site is a very part-time endeavor, but if anyone is interested in providing more information it might spur me on to update it and make it better. Fran Farrelly.
