Lookinf for an orphangae in cabell county wv, back in the 20's or 30's era. Does anyone know of any back then??

was wondering if you had any luck in finding the name of the "home" for that time period. I also have family that was placed in the "the home" . Looking for info.

My dad was in an orphanage called Huntington Mission and Orphanage in the 1940s. They are "just" a mission nowadays.

my mother was in one called cabell county home for children has lots of memories frm this school.

Possibly the Prichard School in Ona?

The Prichard School operated in Ona, WV during that time period. It was a school for needy children and orphans.
