John Quirk married Eliza CORCORAN.1865,Kyneton.Victoria.Both came to Ausralia from Ireland.Elizas mother was Elizabeth Corcoran nee Spillane.And Eliza's sister Mary married John Paul CAROLIN,The lord Mayor of Bendigo twice between 1896-1913.John and Eliza,s children are:
Maryanne married James PHELAN.
Robert John.married Constance WILSON

George Henry.married Eva RYDER
Alexander.married Mary WILLIAMS.

John Paul CAROLIN. His daughter Elizabeth Veronica married

I have a Thomas Quirk in my family history. He married Annie Isabella Saffin? Their daughter Mary Ellen Quirk was my Great Grandmother. She was born around 1870? She married Alfred George Richardson on the 14th march 1890 at Egenstown Victoria. Hope this helps. Let me know.

I also have Quirk in my family. Its possible taht they are the same. I have a Thomas Quirk and Hannah Saffin.I have found 4 children to Thomas and Hannah, an Un-Named Child b1873 d1873, John Thomas b1874, William b1876 d 1938 and Robert Emmet b1878. I believe Robert went to New Zealand. William married Grace Georgina Alford in 1899 at Stratford Victoria. Grace is my Great Grand Aunt. Graces parents were John and Phoebe Alford (nee Stokes).
I hope that these may be the same people that your both looking for as some of the information that I have has yet to be verified.

My Great Grand mother was Mary Ellen Quirk...her parents were Thomas Quirk and Annie (Hannah) Isabella Saffin..
Mary Ellen married Alfred George Richardson on the 14th March 1890... they had 7 children one of whom ( Robert Emmett) was my Grandfather. I also believe along with Mary Ellen there was another brother Daniel (1863-1932)

My grandfather - Wilfred (Bob) Parer's mother was Maria Carolin (1864-1933), who together with her sister Teresa (1873-1950) married the Parer brothers Michael (1859-1935) and John (1867-1953). Teresa and Maria Carolin's parents were John Paul Carolin (Mayor of Bendigo) and Mary Corcoran... do you have names of their siblings?
