Searching for vital statistics on the Daniel MOLONEY line. I have names but very little dates.

This is what I have:
Daniel MOLONEY married Mary HICKEY on March 30, 1867 - Nenagh, Tipperary, Ireland. (Daniel had one sister, Mary who married Thomas COSGROVE.) I do not have any information about Daniel's parents.

Daniel and Mary had 7 children:
- Annie (married Pat Ryan)
- Mary (married Alfred Walker)
- Nora (possibly Norah)
- Margaret (married Patrick Moran) - Margaret is my husband's maternal grandmother
- John
- Michael (married Annie Killeen
- Martin (died in 1916)

Most of the 7 children immigrated to America around the turn of the century and settled in the Brooklyn, NY area. I was told John came to America but went back to Ireland and never married. However, there is a John Moloney, that died in the 1920s buried in the family plot in New York and his
wife is buried there also. I believe she died in the 1930s...but not positive. I don't have his wife's name. Could be a different John Moloney.

Any information would be most appreciated!

Do you have any information now on Daniels parents? I am related to a Michael Moloney and Ellen Cavanagh from Nenagh. Their son Michael came to Australia in 1850. He had a younger brother Daniel

It is probably John Moloney as in the first posting family first son was named John. What about second family's children names. Daniel was a fairly unusual name at the time.
John and Mary leading the way for names, James, Michael, Patrick,....

The difficulty could be the birth records. Often marriages
happened in the bride's parish if different from the grooms
so hard to say where the children might be baptised. If RC
and mother went home to her mother's for delivery it could be Nenagh. RC had to baptise as soon as possible.

Parish of Nenagh, RC on an online History Foundation which although not for profit is a fee paying website-there is little in Ireland for free but cheap compared to travel where you would need to go to the same Foundation for records for RC as local parish's aren't very forthcoming:

records start for baptisms and marriages 1792 but so many gaps (some whole years) till 1844 for baptisms and marriages 1819. You should find it easy to get a marriage
for Daniel. Ellen is fairly unusual but can also be Helen or Eleanor!

This RC parish record might be on microfilm, available from
the Latter Day Saints at a LDS Heritage Center near you. These were obtained by the LDS from the National Library in Dublin. I'm pretty sure Ancestry has these as well.
