mortally wounded july 2 1863 at gettysburg pa
died july 5 1863 v corps hospital
4th u.s. infantry, army of the potomac

My great great grandfather was Thomas Carroll born in Tipperary 1832 and he is buried in Cincinnati. I will check to see if he had any brothers. He married Margaret Blackburn (b. 1832) from County Meath Ireland.
