I am looking for any branch of my own Carroll family. What I know is this. Harry married Mary Hickey. They had three children. Marion (born 1902 in Windsor,CT) married Frank Steenstra, they had three children. Dorothy married into the Nagel family. They had a son named Richard. I don't know her husband's last name, but Dorothy died in the 1980's in NY. Harry,Jr. we believe married a woman named Marion. I am looking for a info in any direction of this family tree. I don't know Harry, Sr. parents names or the dates surrounding his birth or death. I have one picture of them taken the late 1890's. Anything you have will be helpful.

My great-great grandfather was Harry Hickey who was a confederate in the Civil War and was in a Union Prison Camp in Troy, NY. He had a son, (James H.Hickey - my great grandfather), and a daughter, name unknown. In Troy, he re-married and might have had other children. His son, James, ran away during this time and moved to Colorado in the latter part of the 1800's.

Could Mary be Harry's daughter from the first marriage? Has anyone heard a part of this story?

I am Nikki Puzzo's cousin and I am doing research on this line...does anyone have any updated information on this? I have that Henry (Harry) Hickey was born in NYC and married Mary Hickey who was also born in NYC. They had a child named Marion who was born in 1901. Mary Hickey's parents were Anna Dwyer and Simon Hickey. They were born in Co. Cork and Co. Dare, Ireland (respectively).
