Elmer McAuley, 62, died unexpectedly early this morning in his farm home in Greenwood township.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mamie McAuley; two sons, Ray and Alger McAuley, both of Detroit; two daughters, Mrs. Leo Wilsie and Mrs. Vincent Platt, both of Detroit; a brother, Francis W. McAuley, Port Huron; and 12 grandchildren.
The remains are in the Arthur E. Smith funeral home, where funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Monday. Elder J. R. Grice, pastor of Latter Day Saints church, will officiate. Burial will be in Springhill cemetery, Greenwood township.
Mr. McAuley, who was born July 12, 1874, in Greenwood township, lived there until 20 years ago, when he moved to Detroit. He lived in his home in Greenwood township in summers.
