Looking for information on William Graves Hawkins b) 01 Jan. 1813, d) 28 Nov. 1902 m) Sarah Jane Adkins. they had 9 children. William Graves and Sarah Jane are suppose to be buried in Meadow Creek. It is said that he was a Minister, but I do not know where or when. William Graves is the son of Joseph G. Hawkins and Elizabeth Montague, and information on any of these subjects would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Sheila

These are my ancestors. I do have more information for you. Yes, William G and Sarah Jane are buried at Meadow Creek. I have been told he was a minister but have no proof. I am descended from their eldest daughter, Melissa.

I too am from this family. Correct me if I am wrong.

Allen Devalston WHEATLEY (WHITLEY)(1854-) m. Henrietta HAWKINS (1855-).

Henrietta's parents were William Graves HAWKINS (1813-1902)and Sarah Jane ADKINS (1816-1891).

William's parents were Joseph G HAWKINS (1780-1860) and Elizabeth MONTAGUE (1791-1845).

Sarah's parents were Aaron ADKINS (?) and Sarah SANDERS (?).

Allen was born in Cross Ridge, Tishomingo Co., MS 1854 before Cross Ridge became Booneville 1861 and before that part of Tishomingo Co. became Prentiss Co. in 1870.

Where were Allen and Henrietta married?
