Hi Gloria,

I am a descendant of John Woodworth and Abigail Adams from Miramichi NB. Many of their children settled in Linneus (Edward, Sarah, John, Justus, Charles, Anthony). My ggg-grandmother was their daughter Lavinia who married Alexander Scott and remained in NB.

Abigail was the daughter of Daniel Adams and Sarah Ives. Daniel was the son of loyalist John Adams and Sarah Coley. Sarah's sister Eunice Ives was married to Jared Tozer and I am also descended from them.

Are we connected?
Brenda

I am a descendant of Williams Adams from Linneus, born NB abt 1810. He is the son of Daniel Adams and Sarah Ives and brother to Abigail Adams Woodworth and also Edward and Charles Adams of Linneus. He married Eliza Hughes and their daughter Maggie married John Hughes (her cousin). Their daughter Jessie married Ben Collins also of Linneus. We seem to be in the same line and I would like to share infomation.

The Book OLD NORTH ESK by W.D. HAmilton has information on all these families. I descent from a George Tozier b. ca. 1849. Do any of your Tozier's have George in them?

I am descended from Edward Woodworth and Charity Tozier. Edward is the son of John Woodworth (b. abt. 1800)and Abigail Adams. All were born in New Brunswick, Canada. However, I haven't been able to locate the parents of John Woodworth or Charity Tozier, although I recently found Charity's death certificate in Maine and it indicates that her father's last name was Mathieson. Any help would be much appreciated.
