Tu'uhatoka/Lasike
My great grandfather(x6) is Tu'uhatoka, he had a sister Ema. Tu'uhatoka then had a son Lasike(1st). Lasike also had a son named Lasike(2nd). I am unsure if the names given are their 1st names or last names. I do know they were from Ha'afeva, Ha'apai. Lasike(2nd) then came to Ono-i-Lau, Fiji (which is where my mom's family is from) & had a son Semiti Waqa. From here it went Semiti Waqa-Joape-Inoke Luveni-Ilaisa Vulaono-my mom.
Hope all this make sense. Would be great to hear from anyone who knows or has ties to these names.

I was interested to read your post about Lasike. I have a lot of information about this names and I am very interested in the Ono-i-Lau connection. I am actually working on an article about this name for the Journal of Pacific History (in which I have published before (2008). Could we get in touch? Incidentally I will be visiting Fiji August 13-31. Perhaps we could meet up there.
