Jasper Maney & Josephine Cline were my great grand parents. I have their children listed as Minnie Maxwell, Catherine "kate", James Alfred "Jim", Mary Hasiltine "Hattie" and Ivey Lee. Minnie was my grand mother. I have other great+grandparents names and some dates if you are interested. e-mail me at jims@ac.net.

My great-grnadmother was Mary Maney from Ireland
she married my g-grandfather John P. (or Patrick)
Boland, they came to America in 1849 or 1850.
I do not have anymore information, please help.
G-grandfather could have been born in Northern
Ireland in early 1800's. Thanks

Where did your John P. (Patrick) and Mary Maney Boland live? Was it Swain Co., NC? Where were they when they died?

I checked the 1850 census indexes and there are many John Bolands born in Ireland in the U. S., as well as many Patrick Bolands born in Ireland also in the U.S.

USA around 1849 or 1850 in Pennsylvania and lived

You still gave me very little to go on. Where did John and Mary live in 1900 census and what were some of their childrens' names? I found both John Boland and Patrick Bolands in PA in 1860 census, but not knowing the year your John P. Boland was born I am not going to post them. Nor, did I check the 1870 and 1880 census records until I am sure which one I am looking for. The more information you can provide, the easier it is to help you.

You still did not give me any locations in PA. I found two Patrick Bolands in PA in 1850 census, and they were married and still in PA in 1860. Both were born in Ireland and both had wife, Mary, also born in Maryland.

You say John Patrick Boland was born in 1940, then you say John Patrick Boland died in 1909. I need clarification on this. Where did he die? Where was John Patrick Boland born in 1940? The 1930 census is the last one open to the public.

Where was your grandfather, John Patrick Boland, in 1900 census, in PA, then what county? What are some sibling's names? I need more information to try to determine which one from 1860 is your line.
