Thank you for responding to my query in the General Moravia Query Forum. My GGgrandmother was Apolina Kopecky of Lipov Moravia, daughter of Jan Kopecky. She married Josef Moskalsky. I have no dates on these people.

Ms. Sid Sorenson-
My Great-great-great-great-great grandfather, Paulus Holas was born in Olsovec, Belotin, Moravia in 1712 in the Parish of Saint George the Martyr. My great grandfather, Frank Hollas, emigrated from Neudek (Czech "Nejdek"), Moravia to Texas, U.S.A. What's the nature of your interest in the name "Hollas". Also to anyone else with info or interest in my name, please e-mail me at bradzone@ev1.net

I am a resident of Luzerne County, PA. My maiden name is
Kathy Kopetchny. I have traced my father's family back to
Moravia to 1714. There is a mention of a Tomas Kopeczny
who married a Katerina Nevrtal on Nov. 6, 1792 in Konesin,
Moravia. Perhaps there is a connection with the Kopecny
name that you know and the Kopeczny in my family history record.

Surnames: David
I have a particular interest in Ferdinand David who immigrated from Austria (Silesia/Moravia) to New York City in 1884. He was married to Mary (Maria) Pavlik, who was his second wife. He and his wife (and one child) subsequently moved to southeast Texas where he remained. I would be very appreciative of any information which you might be able to provide.

Thank you for responding to my query. My 4 gGrandmother, Veronika DAVID, (b.?, d.?), was the daughter of Jan (John) DAVID & his wife Marianna (nee unknown). Veronika married Frantisek (Frank) URBAN,(b.abt 1800, d.?). These DAVID/URBAN families lived in or near the village of Benetice, Moravia, Czechslovakia. I don't know anything about the DAVID family emmigration, but Veronika & Frank's gGrandson & his wife emmigrated to the U.S. abt. 1912 & settled eventually in Phillips, Wis.
