Hunting for clues about the Cannon's of Plaquemines Parish, LA. I've hit a wall. I can't seem to go beyond Oliver Cannon of Grand Prairie, LA (b 1851, d 1934). I was told Grand Prairie no longer exists. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I found oliver cannon in a report on sugar and rice crops. Look it up on google books: statement of the sugar and rice crops in louisiana by louis and alcee bouchereau. Notice a charles and edward cannon on the same list.
