The line only goes back reliably to Frederick Bricker and Susanna Mast of Berks County. It's only speculation that Frederick's parents may have been John and Barbara Bricker, also of Berks County, a speculation in which I participated at one time. Anyway, probably "Barbara Ammermann", with a Dutch rather than German surname, was really "Barbara Zimmermann" instead.

John is in the 1860, 1870 us federal census with his parents Godfrey and Elizabeth Bricker and some of the siblings...Have you ran across a Daniel in any of your findings? Godfrey is supposedly his brother... but I have never found a connection...
Thanks
