Parents of William Durgin Siler, Sr. (1808-bef 1851)

Looking for proof of the relationship of William Durgin Siler, Sr. (born 1808 Chatham Co. NC, died bef 1851 in Jasper County, Georgia) to Josiah (1780-1850) and Comfort Record Siler of Chatham County. William married Marie Dorsett and is clearly listed as the son of Josiah and Comfort Record Siler in the A. O. Siler book. I would like some better proof if possible.
The estate papers of Josiah (1851) list Josiah’s heirs-at-law and one of these is simply listed as “Wm”. Does anyone know of a reliable Church or Bible record for Josiah and Comfort's children? Any help is greatly appreciated.
