Mrs. Bennie Crockett, 71, of Princeton, died Thursday, July 11, 2002, at 1:08 p.m. at her home, following a long illness.
A member of Green Hill Baptist Church, she was born July 11th 1931, in Caldwell County, a daughter of Izora Mae McCoy Haddock and the late Benjamin Alfred Smith.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Gwen Rustin in 2002.
Survivors in addition to her mother include four sons, Mike Kelton of Caldwell County, Bruce Kelton of Bluffs, Ill., Billy Kelton and Happy Crockett, both of Sanford, Fla.; three daughters, Janice Neisner and Loretha Linton, both of Caldwell County, and Gidget Morgan of Beaufort, South Carolina; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Smith of Clarksville, Tenn., and Hoppy Smith of Caldwell County; a sister, Patricia Haddock of Hopkinsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 13th, at 1:00 p.m. at Morgan's Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Willard Walls officiating.
Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Princeton, Ky.
