I'm looking for information regarding the parents and ancestors of Robert Berry, born 1718 in Dublin, Ireland, and died 1789 in Orangeburg District, South Carolina Colony. I am fairly certain that his father was named James Berry and was born in Dublin in 1690. Any information will be greatly appreciated!

Do you know if Robert Berry had any brothers. My ggggg-grandfather was Andrew Berry 1720-1800. He came to Charles Town, SC in 1735 with 2 brothers. I have been unable to find their names. I do know one of them went to Virginia. We think they came from Ireland or England. Also do not know their parents names. Thought they may be related due to birthdates and locations in SC.

I have an Isaac Berry who settled in the Shanendoah Valley Virginia in the 1760's. They went on and settled near Lawrence County Kentucky. This man is thought to be from Ireland, but we have no proof.

Andrew Berry came to SC in 1735 with two brothers. One went to Va which would have been around 1735. I do not know where the other one went. I also do not know their names. They are thought to have come from England or Ireland. Andrew Berry was around 15 years old when he arrived at Charles Town, SC. He was one of the six original settlers in Sandy Bluff, SC. I have a lot of information on his family line, but canot locate his mother and father's name. I have been able to trace his wife's family back to William Smythe b.1560 London, England.
